So, I decided to really dive into this whole Sagittarius tarot card thing the other day. You hear a lot about Temperance being the card for Sag, so that’s where I started. I just kept shuffling and thinking, laying out cards that seemed to echo different parts of the Sagittarius energy. It wasn’t about finding one definitive card anymore. It was about seeing a constellation of energies.
What I Ended Up With
And honestly, it made more sense that way. Temperance is definitely part of the picture, that ideal of integrating their big ideas and their adventurous spirit with some kind of higher purpose or balance. But it’s not the only character in the play. Far from it.
It’s like trying to describe a whole country with just one landmark. Sure, the Eiffel Tower is Paris, but it’s not all of France, is it? Sagittarius energy is broad. It’s the explorer, the teacher, the comedian, the philosopher, sometimes all rolled into one. Trying to stuff all of that into a single tarot card felt like trying to fit an eagle into a pigeonhole. It just wasn’t going to work smoothly.
So, yeah, my journey with the “Sagittarius tarot card” ended up being less about finding a neat answer and more about embracing the glorious, sometimes contradictory, mess of it all. And that’s a practice I can get behind.
