The Making Of – Fiddly Bits and Patience
Once everything arrived, I cleared a space on my kitchen table. This is where the real fun, and sometimes frustration, begins. First, I laid everything out. I decided to string the pearls on the beading wire, with the little Gemini charm as a central, but discreet, focal point. I didn’t want it screaming “ASTROLOGY!”

I tried it on. Looked at it in the mirror from a few different angles. It was simple, delicate. Just what I wanted. The pearls had a lovely, soft glow, and the little charm was barely noticeable unless you were looking for it.
I’ve been wearing it pretty much every day since I made it. Can I honestly say it’s magically balanced my Gemini duality? Probably not in a huge, life-altering way. But, you know, there’s something nice about wearing something you’ve made yourself. A little reminder of a quiet afternoon spent creating something.
