Okay, so I had this random thought the other day, right? I was watching some tennis, and, like, “I wonder if there’s a pattern with astrology signs and tennis stars?” Sounds crazy, I know, but my brain just goes there sometimes.

First things first, I needed data. I started by making a list of famous tennis players, both men and women. Used Wikipedia, a couple of sports websites, you know, the usual suspects. Got a decent list going – Federer, Nadal, Serena, Djokovic, the whole gang.
Then came the annoying part. I had to find their birthdays. More Googling. Some were easy, some were buried deep in some random interview article. I created a spreadsheet – Player Name, Birthday, Astrology Sign. Old school, I know, but it works for me.
Once I had all the birthdays, figuring out the astrology signs was easy. There are tons of websites that’ll tell you the sign based on the date. Filled in my spreadsheet.
Now for the fun part – analyzing the data! I tallied up how many players were each sign. Did any sign seem to pop up more than others? I wasn’t expecting anything dramatic, but I was curious.
I ended up making a simple bar chart to visualize the data. Just used Google Sheets, nothing fancy. The chart showed the number of tennis stars for each astrological sign.

Here’s the thing: It was pretty evenly distributed. A few signs had slightly more players, but nothing statistically significant that I could scream “OMG, Scorpios rule tennis!” or whatever. It was a bit of a letdown, honestly. I was hoping for some crazy revelation.
But hey, that’s data analysis, right? Sometimes you find something cool, sometimes you find out there’s nothing there. Still, it was a fun little project. It kept me entertained for an afternoon. And now I can say I’ve officially investigated the astrological sign distribution of tennis stars!
So, yeah, that’s my super exciting (or not-so-exciting) astrology-tennis experiment. Maybe I’ll try it with another sport next time. Who knows, maybe I’ll strike gold eventually.
