So, the other day, I got this idea to look up Blake Lively’s birth chart. Just one of those random thoughts, you know? I’d seen her in a few things, and she always seems to have this certain vibe. Figured, why not see what the stars say, if anything.
Getting the Info
First up, I had to actually find her birth details. The date, August 25, 1987, that’s out there, pretty easy to find. But the birth time? Man, that’s always the tricky part with celebrities. You search online, and it’s like everyone’s got a different story. Some sites say one thing, forums say another. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly.
I spent a good chunk of time just digging around. Read a few discussions here and there. Some times seemed more common, popping up in a few places. You kind of have to take it all with a grain of salt, right? Eventually, I just picked a time that seemed to be the most frequently cited, or at least had some kind of reasoning behind it, however flimsy. And the place, Tarzana, California, that seemed pretty consistent.
Making the Chart
Once I had the date, the time I was going with, and the location, I needed to actually generate the chart. I’ve used a couple of those free astrology websites before. They’re all pretty similar. I just pulled one up, one that didn’t look too cluttered. Didn’t want to get overwhelmed with too much stuff right away.
I carefully typed in all the info: August 25, 1987, Tarzana, and that birth time I’d settled on. Clicked the button, and there it was. The circle with all the symbols and lines. It’s always a bit like looking at a secret code when you first see one if you’re not super into it.
First Impressions
The first things I usually try to spot are the Sun, Moon, and Rising signs. Those are like the big three, the main headlines of the chart, or so they say.
- Her Sun sign is Virgo. Yeah, I think I knew that, or it makes a lot of sense. Virgos are often seen as practical, detail-oriented, maybe a bit of a perfectionist. That kinda fits the image, right? Always looks so put together.
- The Moon sign, based on the time I used, came out as Virgo too. Now, a double Virgo, Sun and Moon, that’s a lot of Virgo energy! That usually means someone who is really analytical, probably quite intelligent, but maybe also a bit critical, of themselves too. That was interesting to see.
- And the Rising sign, or Ascendant, that popped up as Sagittarius. That was a bit of a surprise, I guess. Sagittarius rising can be really outgoing, optimistic, loves adventure. It’s the face you show the world. So, that organised Virgo interior, but with a more free-spirited, friendly exterior. It sort of painted a picture.
Looking a Little Closer
I poked around the chart a bit more. Saw where Mercury was – also in Virgo, surprise surprise! So, a lot of that earthy, practical, communicative energy. Makes you think about how she expresses herself. Then there’s Venus, the planet of love and beauty. I saw that was in Leo. Leo likes a bit of drama, a bit of spotlight, very warm and generous. That part definitely rings true for a Hollywood star.
Some of the other placements and those lines they call aspects, well, that’s where it gets really complicated. I’m no expert, so I just kind of glanced at them. You can go down a real rabbit hole with all that stuff.
Did it Make Sense?
So, did it all line up with the Blake Lively we see? Some parts, yeah, definitely. The hardworking Virgo, the glamorous Leo Venus, the friendly Sagittarius rising – I could see bits of that. It’s never a perfect match, of course. People are way more complex than just a chart. And who knows if the birth time I found was even right? That changes things a lot.
But it was a fun little exercise. Just satisfying a bit of curiosity. It’s like putting together a puzzle, even if you’re not sure you have all the right pieces. Gives you a different way to think about someone, even if it’s just for an afternoon. Not gonna base any life decisions on it, but it’s a neat way to pass the time and ponder a bit.
