It forced me to be a bit more mindful, a bit more aware of my own thoughts and hesitations. It didn’t solve my problems, but it made me look at them a bit more directly.
It’s funny, I don’t see 1014 quite as much anymore. Maybe I just stopped needing that particular nudge. Or maybe I’m just not looking for it. Either way, it was an interesting little detour. Just goes to show, sometimes the weirdest little things can make you stop and think, even if you’re a bit of a skeptic like me.
