Starting Simple (Like She Said)
Joanne promised easy steps, so I grabbed my grubby notepad – the one covered in grocery lists. No fancy apps, just pen and paper like she suggested. First thing? Notice any repeating numbers. Honestly? Nothin’ struck me while reading her post. Felt kinda stuck already!
Changed tack: flipped open my phone gallery instead. Scrolled through pics from last week like she mentioned. Boom. There it was! Two photos taken exactly at 12:34 back-to-back. My kid laughing Tuesday and my neighbor’s cat stalking Wednesday. Okay, okay… maybe not coincidence?
Digging Deeper – The “Why” Part
Joanne swears by finding the meaning yourself, no dictionary needed. So I stared at 1,2,3,4 scribbled on my pad:
- 1 felt like “just started” – like that DIY bookshelf I keep putting off
- 2 meant balance to me – spilled coffee vs. happy kid pic!
- 3 screamed growth – my basil plant finally sprouting on the sill
- 4 was foundation – payday covering bills this month, phew
Kinda put it together: “New project (shelf!), stay balanced through messes, growth happens, finances stable.” Weirdly… made sense for this week?
My Big “Aha!” Moment
Still skeptical though. Walked outside to grab the mail. Mailbox number? 1234. I swear I dropped the letters! Lived here three years and never paid attention. Total chills! Took it as the universe shouting: “YEAH DUDE, PAY ATTENTION ALREADY!”
Rushed back in and scrawled on my notepad:
“Start the dang shelf project. Ignore small messes. Keep watering basil. Money’s fine – chill!”
What Now?
Honestly? Not turning into some numbers mystic overnight! But Joanne’s right about the easy part:
- Used stuff I already had (phone pics, pen, paper)
- Didn’t overthink meanings – gut feelings only
- Actually did start cutting shelf wood today!
Kinda fun seeing patterns where you least expect ‘em. Coffee spill led to shelves! Who’d have thought? If my clumsy self can do this, anybody can give it a shot.
